Yeah, sure...here we go again!

In a week's time, Al Sadr and his loyalists have agreed to handover their weapons, as part of the most recent cease-fire deal. Mmm, I do believe we were here only a couple weeks ago?! And, exactly why is there a stipulation of waiting a week? Oh, DUH - HELLO! I get it! It is so he and his loyalists can use a large portion of their weapons over the coming week.

Trust me when I say it is just another "let's appease 'em" political act of "kindness." A regular "bang, boom, and bust their balls" circus act is more like it! So, the "Zone" will be hit hard this week...oh, no doubt. In a week, the media pawn will play upon Sadr's good intentions, as we witness the handover of some broken RPGs and some mortar rounds via our Al Jazeera and CNN friends.

Anyone would be fooling themselves to think this would be the end of the madness that exists across the Tigris. Just wait a few days after the hype has waned; it will be back to the normal nightly fireworks and daily car bombs.

Let the games begin!

I am frustrated by the repeated on & off again cease-fire nature, too. Don't the poliicos read the Koran? It gives this strategy for falling back and regrouping militarily or politically in order to eventually defeat your enemy. This charade goes back to the seventh century!
Again, hunker down you two armored loved ones.
